"..Pulp figurines can often be described as permanent centrepieces because they are novel in their subject matter as well as their materials. Contrary, these skeletons inspire something which is purely decorative and would be perfect as colourful Halloween decorations. They're fashioned primarily from wood, paper, paint and embellishments. Being the first pulp figurines to appear on Pulp Art they have inspired all the other figurines in one way or another. Skeletons are simply fun things to dress up. This troupe are a curious department of circus, sideshow characters. A panto gothic parade paying tribute to the here and now from the ever after! They have proportionally large egg heads, short bodies and simplified solid black eyes with wide grins. Give or take a top hat, they range in scale from 20 cm to nearly 40 cm and are not entirely proportional. Still, they’re a playground for anyone in the market for a little fandango..."
